He has risen, Alleluia!

I have seen the Lord. Alleluia

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
I bring you joyful Easter greetings.

Mary Magdalene was the first to encounter the risen Jesus, after which she run, fast, to the other disciples and announced, “I have seen the Lord.” (John 20:18).
After journeying through Lent and the sorrowful period of the Passion may we all announce the good news, “He has risen”.

I invite you all my dear brothers and sisters to pray for peace, true peace, not merely the absence of war, in our hearts, peace in our families, peace in our country, and peace in the world especially in Gaza and Israel, Ukraine and Russia, Haiti, and Sudan.

May Christ who conquered all evil and death grant hope and joy to all people of the world. May the Prince of Peace transform all of us into ‘instruments of peace’ and may we all live as brothers and sisters.

Happy Easter. He has risen. Alleluia
